Chinese mushrooms

My parents loved Chinese food.

When we moved from the country to the city, my mother took lessons on how to cook Chinese food. Thus we were introduced to Ants-Climb-Up-A-Tree, Gingered Beef, and her version of fried rice.

Our house held an eclectic aroma of spices and interesting ingredients – including the mushrooms.

The food was always good but oh, those Chinese mushrooms.
